Overweight and insecure, Xing Yunshu is set up by her sister Xing Yike to drug her husband Gu Linyuan for a consummation—accidentally crushing and breaking his legs, and getting herself banished to the Gu family's rural hometown. Just as she hits rock bottom, the soul of an ancient miracle doctor transmigrates into her body. After a stunning weight-loss transformation, she supports herself in the countryside with her medical skills and gives birth to quintuplets (named Monday through Friday). Five years later, the adorable kids accidentally meet their biological father, Gu Linyuan, who is searching for them; they claim they were kidnapped and are taken back to the Gu household. To hide her identity, Xing Yunshu assumes the alias "Yun Shu" and works as a cleaner at the Gu mansion, secretly protecting her children. Gu Linyuan gradually grows fond of the cute kids and "Yun Shu," yet keeps discovering cracks in Xing Yunshu's disguise (blood type, photos, a mole, medical skills). Xing Yike repeatedly schemes against her, only to inadvertently deepen the bond between Gu Linyuan and Xing Yunshu. In the end, with the children's help and after a series of crises (a child's injury, a fake-Xing Yunshu scam, a drugging incident), Xing Yunshu admits her identity, and the couple reconciles. Gu Linyuan accepts the children, Xing Yunshu promises to heal his legs, and the family of seven is reunited.
