The locust blossoms in Nanshan Hollow have bloomed for thirty years. Beekeeper Uncle Huai tends a ravine of hives, making honey that's sweet but has no market. His granddaughter Huaimi works in e-commerce in the city, but quits her job and returns to the village to help her grandfather sell genuine locust honey. A dealer named Old Eight wants to buy the honey cheap, adulterate it, and resell it, but Uncle Huai refuses outright. Huaimi launches livestreams and goes head-to-head against adulterated honey at the town's local-products contest, letting a spoonful of real honey dissolve in front of millions. The old hives, the old honey extractor, and that ravine of locust blossoms all turn sweet again this summer.
