My Great-Grandma Is a Cat

Xia Tian, a thousand-year-old nine-lived cat demon, perishes in a final, self-detonating battle against her sworn enemy, the Qingqiu fox demon Liu Ruyan. Thanks to a phoenix jade pendant, she is reborn in the modern city of Jiangcheng and reunited with her adopted son, Xia Dabao. Taking a shape-shifting pill, Xia Tian becomes a young girl—healing Xia Dabao, who suffers from a terminal illness, while protecting the younger generations of the Xia family. When her great-grandson Xia Anping falls into a casino trap trying to save a friend, Xia Tian steps in to resolve the crisis. She enrolls in high school as a student and continues her fight against Liu Ruyan and her forces. In the end, the truth is revealed: most of the school are cultivators, and everyone joins forces to besiege the nine-tailed fox demon, ushering in an era of cultivation for all.
