At launch, the collection languishes unsold because it misses its target audience. With suggestions and help from friends—fabric artisan Lu Zhiyu, ceramicist Wen Ning, and others—the group breaks through by hosting hands-on craft workshops to draw in customers, and unexpectedly lands a bulk custom order from a café.
