CEO, Times Have Changed

In 1944, a CEO holding the front line at Beiling is betrayed and assassinated by his own subordinates—only to be hurled by the explosion into a 2026 livestream set in Xiangshan. He still thinks in wartime commands, treating a phone as a communications weapon and the livestream company as his command post, only to discover that modern people fear no authority—they answer only to contracts, traffic, and their own wills. To survive, the CEO is forced to join Huangguo Entertainment, run by Hu Qianlu, and with the help of the calm, practical Xiao Jiang, he learns livestreaming, algorithms, and the rules of the modern workplace. He faces down Young Marshal Wang Ziqiang's traffic challenge, Li Mo's insistence on creative autonomy, and the company's looming cash crisis—and gradually comes to understand that "everyone is watching you" does not mean you own them, still less that you can decide for them. In the end, he saves the company through his most genuine reactions, and builds a subtle, deep trust with Hu Qianlu.
