The Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Great Hero

In a martial world of grudges and passions, amid an era of warring states and power struggles, Guo Jing (played by Xiao Zhan) leaves his hometown in childhood and gradually forges a vast power that can change the situation and his destiny. Though appreciated and valued by great masters, and taught the peerless martial arts of the world, the "Nine Yin Manual" and the "Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms," he draws the envy of all sides and becomes the target of everyone. Guo Jing, neither servile nor overbearing, with a pure and innocent heart, joins Huang Rong (played by Zhuang Dafei) amid iron cavalry and arrow storms and smoke and banners to turn the tide and protect the southern border of the Southern Song. The condor soars across the heavens, the brave know no fear; the greatest of heroes, with strength to move mountains and rivers, achieves a legend of the martial world. This film is mainly adapted from chapters 34 to 40 of Jin Yong's original novel of the same name.
