A Daughter's Inheritance—Who Dares to Take It

Lu Yang, a man from a humble background, marries Gao Minmin, a pampered city girl. After the wedding, Minmin devotes herself entirely to their little family, but her husband Lu Yang favors his widowed sister-in-law and nephew, neglecting his wife who is seven months pregnant. This leads to Minmin dying because she isn't taken to the hospital in time, leaving behind a gravely ill daughter. Lu Yang's true face—favoring sons over daughters and greedy for money—is fully exposed as he abandons his sick daughter, seizes his late wife's fortune, and marries a new wife. But little does he know, all of this is a trap set by his mother-in-law, Shen Qing. She is determined to make Lu Yang and his family pay for their cold-bloodedness and to seek justice for her daughter who died unexpectedly—to see the faithless man meet the end he deserves. In the end, she alone raises her daughter's last remaining bloodline to adulthood.
