The Awakened Mother and Her Ungrateful Child

Lakkhana and her husband toiled to raise Wichai to adulthood, only to be exploited by him and his wife Methini under the guise of "setting boundaries." Later, her husband died of a broken heart. After Lakkhana is reborn, her eyes are opened; she stands firm in her principles and fights back, reclaiming her assets and exposing the truth. In the end, she cuts ties with her ungrateful child and donates all her wealth to charity—a reinterpretation of the essence of gratitude as the highest of all virtues.
