A Call from 1949

A call across time pulls him into the trenches of a 1949 battle. There he meets Dong Xiaoliu, a 19-year-old signal soldier who has lost his family yet dreams of a new China, and who asks Yu Yong to protect this country. Waking with a start, Yu Yong sees the truth and hands over his bank card. Years later, he pays his respects at the grave, passing this faith on to the next generation.
