Lone Bridge, Gleaming Sword

The Yundu Escort Agency receives a mysterious ebony iron chest, and Xi Zhaochuan and Ruan Zhixian are ordered to escort it to Linjiang. Along the way, they face tracking, probing, and entanglements with old alliances, insisting on verifying before judging and refusing to settle disputes through private feuds. Upon reaching the Sword-Asking Terrace, everyone gradually reconstructs the truth and, through public deliberation, suspends a controversial new alliance rule. Xi Zhaochuan also lets go of old grudges with former friends, understanding that true chivalry is not about showing off by drawing one's sword, but about keeping one's word and bearing responsibility, respecting facts, and having the courage to admit mistakes—letting rules return to fairness, leaving the martial world with accountability, and allowing people to rebuild trust in one another.
