I Married the Groom's Uncle

On her wedding day, Jagger Hamilton abandoned Avery for his adopted sister Tatum. Manhattan's most feared "Ice Blade"—Jagger's uncle Beckett—married her instead. Three years later, Avery was pregnant with the child Beckett had long awaited, but Jagger and Tatum returned and cruelly murdered the baby. Beckett unleashed a brutal revenge, breaking both their limbs and casting them out of the family. Years later, Avery and Beckett welcomed a healthy son, while the destitute and crippled Jagger—rejected by the family—chose to end his own life.
