In Her Mother's Name

Jian Ling has always kept a low profile so that her daughter Gu Xinxin can grow up healthy and happy like any normal child. But at school, the other kids assume Xinxin's family is poor and bully her for it. Worse still, Li Suran's mother, Li Fei, falsely claims to be the wife of the Gu Group's CEO and, together with other parents and even the teachers, joins in tormenting Xinxin. Jian Ling can bear it no longer and settles scores one by one with everyone who has bullied her daughter—until Li Fei finally realizes that Jian Ling is the true wife of Gu Chibai, and can no longer deceive anyone, least of all herself, and receives the punishment she deserves. Through this ordeal, Gu Xinxin comes to admire her mother even more—and learns how to protect herself.
