Cloud Ridge Pottery

Young Ma Jingchuan returns to his hometown of Yunling Village, determined to revive its traditional pottery craft. He gathers a team—veteran potter Ma Shouren, village Party Secretary Liang, product operations manager Su Qingyan, fellow returning youth Chen Zhiyuan, and cultural-creative channel distributor Zhou Wenda—to start a business together, renting the village's idle old grain warehouse and converting it into a standardized pottery workshop. The team surveys three local clay sources on site and plans separate workflows for clay preparation, forming, firing, and packaging. They simplify the heavy, bulky shapes of antique vessels and develop three product lines suited to modern homes: teaware, flower vessels, and folk-style decorative pieces. Everyone standardizes clay extraction and kiln-firing practices, teaches the full set of handcraft techniques step by step, builds an online store, and repeatedly tests shipping packaging.
