A Kind Doctor Meets a Cruel Twist of Fate

On her way to work, Dr. Song Xueyao is knocked down by Zhang Xiulan's tricycle, which is going the wrong way and whose rider is suffering from heatstroke. Ignoring her own injuries, Xueyao saves Zhang Xiulan and takes her to the hospital. But Zhang Xiulan and her children falsely accuse Xueyao of hitting her and demand compensation, causing Xueyao to be fired, while her husband Chen Dongke and mother-in-law blame her too. Xia Haoming steps forward with surveillance footage to clear the truth and help Xueyao get her job back. Chen Dongke suspects Xueyao of cheating and wants a divorce, and he and his mother even livestream false accusations against her. Xueyao turns to Xia Haoming, who uncovers evidence of Chen Dongke's marital infidelity. At the trial, Haoming brings the evidence and witnesses to help Xueyao win her case. Afterward, Haoming tells Xueyao that she once saved his life, and after he confesses his feelings, Xueyao accepts, and the two come together.
