The Mu Case 2

To uncover the truth behind her father's mysterious ordeal years ago, the heroine finds a strange package in their old home and is then threatened by a masked figure. With the help of her best friend, her childhood sweetheart, and Jiang Dachuan, she reveals the truth and finds closure. Returning to the workplace, she is pursued by her colleague Zhang Hua; after she rejects him, he resigns and lures her to a bar under the pretense of introducing her to a job, intending to do her harm—but Luo Yuxuan rescues her in time. The two become workplace partners and gradually fall for each other, yet their age gap makes theirs an older-woman/younger-man romance, fiercely opposed by Ruan Mengsha's mother. Through communication and persistence, her mother finally accepts their genuine love. Jiang Dachuan steps aside with grace, and Ruan Mengsha leaves the shadows of her past behind, joining hands with Luo Yuxuan to embrace fulfillment in both career and love.
