The Mountain-Opening Atlas: Secrets of the Two Sisters

For generations, the ancestral teaching to "revere the mountain and all living things" has been passed down at the foot of Yunling Mountain. Young Yan Ruyu, who learned to imitate bear calls, was clawed by a wild animal and left with a scar, making her self-conscious and sensitive. The charlatan Jia Banxian fabricates rumors of a "wordless heavenly book" to bewitch the villagers, scheming to swindle the Zhao family's heirloom, the Mountain-Opening Atlas, falsely claiming it records a rare herb that can remove scars. The hunter Zhao Yingying and Zhao Sanye investigate on the ground and expose the so-called heavenly book as nothing but writing revealed by a chemical solution, and the so-called herb as pure fabrication. Ruyu's father, Yan Laojiu, steals the atlas and ventures into Black Bear Ridge at night, only to vanish without a trace, and Ruyu comes to regret her actions. Yingying takes up the duty of guarding the mountain, using science to dispel superstition and protect the forest.
