The Jealous Sister-in-Law

An elderly mother faints in an alley while out grocery shopping, and Meiling and Dazhuang rush to find her when her phone goes unanswered. Meanwhile, the sister-in-law has her eye on the mother's money to buy a house and sends Daqiang to the mother's home to grab her bank card. After the mother is hospitalized, the older sister clashes with Meiling, accusing her of neglect, while the sister-in-law fans the flames at every turn. Later, Meiling softens and reconciles with Dazhuang, but the sister-in-law gambles away Meiling's bride price and the mother's hard-earned savings, losing it all and collapsing in shock into the hospital, sparking yet another crisis. Thankfully, Dazhuang and Meiling step in to resolve things, moving the sister-in-law to change her ways. Once the mother is discharged, the sister-in-law and Meiling compete for the right to care for her, each pulling out all the stops in a contest of devotion. The family is soon full of warmth and laughter, and everyone comes to understand the importance of family bonds and filial piety, raising a happy toast together.
