You Scheme, I Settle the Score

Six months pregnant, Li Yan loses her mother in an accident, and her mother's dying wish is for Li Yan to divorce. While Li Yan is grieving, her husband Qin Yifan and his mother Zhao Cui'e show their true colors—ordering her around and demanding that a six-months-pregnant Li Yan cook, even boiling the last batch of dumplings her late mother ever made. Li Yan asks for a divorce, but Qin Yifan refuses, and her mother-in-law Zhao Cui'e even turns violent. To pay off a loan shark, Qin Yifan's family pressures Li Yan to transfer the house to them. She pretends to agree, then gathers evidence with secret recordings and video, determined to sue Zhao Cui'e and her family. When Qin Yifan loses his job and tries to take revenge on Li Yan, he is ultimately taken away by the police and imprisoned.
